The plot for this series just derails through the countryside, getting hung up on these other group of characters and old histories for no good reason. Monsters was the worst of the lot. Could someone please let me know what happened to the characters? Oh, and then when I got to the END of the book, there’s a cast of characters and where they were at the end of Shadows.

The plot is so all over the place, and there are so many characters and different story lines that I’m going to direct you to the Goodreads summary instead of my usual summary.

Despite what is happening with her she tries everything to keep Ellie safe even with Ellie being a typical 8 year old and making nothing easy.

Everything that was wrong with Shadows was just amplified in Monsters. Monsters by Ilsa J. It was a cool post-apocalyptic novel about Alex, Ellie and Tom surviving in a fried zombie infested world.

And j.buck is what they do. I know pages is daunting, but I encourage you to read this unforgettable story, starting from the beginning with Ashes. This book was a monster. There were way too many players involved already, but Monsters added even more.

Oh, and the way every chapter ended pretty much on a cliffhanger. They, too, are marching on Rule, where a battle for freedom and security is poised to begin.
